The Caucasus

I currently live in Perth, West Australia where I tend my garden haphazardly, raise chickens foolishly, read avidly, write enthusiastically, travel and enjoy food and wine with good company whenever I can but I was born in Dublin, Ireland on 13 July and lived and studied there until I was about 24 before leaving fairly permanently. Since then, I have worked and lived in Europe, the Middle East, S.E.Asia, the USA and China, teaching both language and literature. My first novel, Raiding Cúailnge / Cooley, is based on the old Irish epic, An Táin Bó Cúailnge or The Cattle Raid of Cooley which recounts the exploits of Ireland’s mythical and legendary hero, Cú Chulainn aka Sétanta.
