About Me

I currently live in Perth, West Australia where I tend my garden haphazardly, raise chickens foolishly, read avidly, write enthusiastically, travel and enjoy food and wine with good company whenever I can but I was born in Dublin, Ireland on 13 July and lived and studied there until I was about 24 before leaving fairly permanently. Since then, I have worked and lived in Europe, the Middle East, S.E.Asia, the USA and China, teaching both language and literature. My first novel, Raiding Cúailnge / Cooley, is based on the old Irish epic, An Táin Bó Cúailnge or The Cattle Raid of Cooley which recounts the exploits of Ireland’s mythical and legendary hero, Cú Chulainn aka Sétanta. Available from 20 April 2016 on Smashwords and other major ebook retailers
